One of my main goals in life, besides having a closet so big that I could live in it, is to have an office. Ideally not just a second bedroom coverted into an office, I'm talking a great space with exposed brick and white walls and brass embellished furniture and gallery walls full of framed prints... (I could go on and on), that I can go to for inspiration. I find myself typing "office spaces" into the Pinterest search bar more often than not. Here are some spaces that I could see myself working in daily.
A girl can dream... I'll have this one day. Hopefully sooner rather than later ;)

I can't tell if being in-between life/career changes is the most stressful or exciting part of life. I'm not one of those people that hate change, I'm actually the exact opposite. I kinda love and crave it BUT getting all the ducks in a row, so to say, to make these changes can be exhausting. I'm right in the middle of changing a few aspects of my life and as stated above... I just want to get my shit together. I have big... HUGE... expectations for 2013 and I'm ready for them to start coming to life now. My fingers are constantly crossed lately. I do think this is a great thing because I'd rather constatly be dreaming and hoping instead of being stuck but I'm ready for things to start happening...

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of color. Even though people have always been trying to tell me which colors I can and cannot wear ever since I was little because of my red hair ("You should wear green ALL THE TIME" or "Red will never work for you") I am open to wearing every color and all colors. Now with all of that being said, pink is one of my favorite colors of. all. time. BUT pink can be tricky because a little bit of it goes a LONG way. You know when you see that one women that is wearing head-to-toe pink and you're like omggggg pink doesn't work the same way black does giiiiiirl. That's why I'm a huge fan of the pop of pink.
Just these little pops make this outfits feel young, fresh and feminine without looking like the outfit is going way pink overboard.

This year I was actually really disapappointed in the celebs red carpet choices. Like of course Jennifer Lawrence looked gorgeous and her dress was amazing but she was the ONLY ONE that knocked me out. The rest... mediocre. Or one part of the look was spot on perfection and then they added something that just messed it up. For example, lets look at Anne Hathaway:
This Prada gown is gorgeous on her (and the back was insane) but what's with that necklace?! The length is so off that it makes me mad. There's NO ROOM to add in a necklace of that length. Like how great would a long necklace have been!? So moving on....
Here are my personal favorite looks from the Oscars red carpet in no particular order.
Jennifer Lawrence in Dior was absolute perfection. Girl did it right for sure.
Jessica Chastain in Armani Prive was gorgeous. I mean everyone knows I'm partical to a pretty ginger but she looks chic.
I LOVED this Valentino Haute Couture gown on Jennifer Aniston although I would have loved it if she switched up her freakin hair for once.
This Armani Prive sparkly dress with a cool cut out was pretty killer on Naomi Watts.
And last but not least, another ginger, Amy Adams looked fab in this Oscar de la Renta gown. A total Oscars fairytale moment.
While these looks were all REALLY REALLY great I felt that no one pushed the limits. Like remember the Golden Globes from 2011?!

Now those girls did the red carpet justice and made the 2013 Oscars look like a snoozefest in comparison #micdrop
